WOW World Literary Award, a prestigious recognition established by the World Organisation of Writers (WOW) as a successor to the esteemed literary prize “Golden LIffT” from 2016 to 2023. In collaboration with the Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly, the Pan-African Association of Writers (PAWA), and the LIFFT Foundation for the Promotion of Cultural Projects of the Eurasian Peoples, this award seeks to honor and encourage authors who contribute significantly to global literature through values resonating across cultures.
The WOW World Literary Prize aims to identify and support literary works that embody universal spiritual and moral values, serving as a cornerstone for sustainable human existence and development. Annually awarded, this prize celebrates authors writing in Russian, English, Spanish, and Arabic or works translated into these languages, recognising outstanding achievements in poetry and prose.
For the WOW World Literary Award:
- Authors or publishing houses can nominate works.
- Submit electronic versions of the book or magazine publication, along with author information and a creative biography.
- Ensure consent from the author if the nominator is not the author.
- Submissions are accepted from December 1, 2023, to March 1, 2024.
For the WOW-LIFFT (Ascension) Special Award:
- Authors can nominate manuscripts in poetry (up to 32 lines) or prose (up to 2000 characters).
- Manuscripts must adhere to specific guidelines and themes.
- Submit electronic versions of the manuscript along with author information and work details.
- Submissions are accepted from December 1, 2023, to March 1, 2024.
The WOW World Literary Award recognises exceptional talents in both poetry and prose, with cash prizes, medals, book publishing agreements, and diplomas.
The award ceremony for both the WOW World Literary Award and WOW-LIFFT will be part of the VII World Literary Festival “WOW-LIFFT-2024” held on April 4-6, 2024, in Abuja, Nigeria.
The jury, appointed by the Founder of the WOW Award, includes notable literary figures and previous laureates. They meticulously evaluate submissions and determine finalists and eventual winners.
